UHS MBBS/BDS Admissions 2024 in Private Medical/Dental Colleges of Punjab is announced. The UHS admission portal and official website is open for admission. The admission schedule for UHS Punjab Medical College for 2024 is also released. The UHS private medical colleges merit list 2024 will be released soon after admission deadline. The fee for admission in UHS private medical colleges is different for different colleges. Admissions to open seats will be based on merit, college choices, and available seats. UHS Private Medical Colleges Admission 2024
According to the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), the standard admission process for Private Sector Medical and Dental Colleges in Punjab is over. The Fifth Selection List of MBBS and the Seventh Selection List of BDS were made public on February 14, 2024, and February 28, 2024, respectively. Following the regular admissions process in UHS private medical colleges admission 2024, any open seats in private medical and dental colleges will be filled according to the “Vacant Seat Policy” announced by the Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department (SHC&ME), Government of Punjab, on February 27, 2024. This is in line with Clause 17(5) of the PM&DC Act 2022.
Private Medical Colleges Admission 2024 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates who applied through University of Health Sciences’ online application portal for admissions to private sector Medical & Dental Colleges within the specified deadline under the centralized admission policy, got selected on merit-cum-preference basis in any of the merit lists displayed but failed to submit fees by the due date, shall be eligible to apply for admission against available vacant seats.
- No candidate who is already admitted to any public sector Medical/Dental College or private sector Medical College shall be eligible to apply for admission to vacant seats.
- Candidates who are admitted to private sector Dental Colleges shall be eligible to apply for admissions to vacant seats for private sector Medical Colleges only.
- Candidates who haven’t been admitted anywhere and are on the waiting list shall be considered for admissions against available vacant seats based on their merit. They can re-apply if they wish to change the Order of Preference as detailed in the application procedure.
- Admissions shall be granted based on candidate’s merit college preferences and available vacant seats. Candidates shall be admitted to vacant seats in private sector Medical & Dental Colleges with corresponding closing merits of regular selection lists. Candidates shall not be admitted to colleges with a current cutoff merit higher than their own merit, nor will they be allocated colleges not in their preference list, regardless of qualifying merit.
- Admissions on vacant seats shall, in no way, affect the candidates who are already admitted.
PMDC MBBS Admission 2024 Online Apply
- Candidates shall provide their consent for admission to vacant seats at the following link: http://forms.uhs.edu.pk/privatevacantseatsapplication. No fresh application fee will be required.
- The portal shall be activated solely for accepting consent for admissions to vacant seats from existing applicants for private sector Medical & Dental Colleges and is not open for new applicants.
- Candidates shall give a fresh Order of Preference for the Colleges with available vacancies which shall be editable till the closing date of submission, however, the number and Order of Preference shall be final and cannot be changed after last date of submission. 4. In case, a candidate doesn’t give fresh Order of Preference for private sector colleges, his/her existing preferences shall be considered final for grant of admission.
- There shall be no restriction on the number of colleges to be opted by a candidate. A college not included in the preference list of the student, shall not be considered for grant of admission.
- Following the display of merit list, to guarantee the selection of committed students, the candidates shall be required to appear before an Admission Committee to present an Admission Token Fee, not exceeding Rs.100,000/-in the form of bank draft or pay order in the name of “UHS Lahore”. The fee will subsequently be transferred to the assigned college. Candidate must settle the remaining fees and confirm their joining at the designated colleges by the specified deadline.
- Candidates admitted to vacant seats shall deposit prescribed college fee and report to the respective college by the specified deadline. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of admission and forfeiture admission token fee.
