Numerous political parties contested the nationwide elections from the provincial capital of Punjab, Lahore, on Thursday. A tough competition was seen between the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) ,Istehkam e Pakistan Party,TLP and the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) backed independent candidates. Given Lahore’s historical relevance and important role in crafting Pakistan’s political narrative, the city’s elections in 2024 were eagerly awaited. Out of the total 14 National Assembly seats in Lahore, three were won by independent candidates supported by the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), two of which were upsets.

Updates for the Lahore 6, NA-122 Election Results 2024 are being made. In NA-122, there are 21 contenders running in the general election of 2024. Latif Khosa of the IND-PTI came in first place in the election results. Khawaja Saad Rafique of the PML-N came in second.Latif Khosa, an independent supported by the PTI, upset PML-N senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique in NA 122, dealing a serious blow to the party. According to the official results, Rafique received 77,709 votes, while Khosa received 117,109 votes to win the election. Khawaja conceded the race and congratulated the independent candidate, who was supported by the PTI, on winning the NA-122 seat in Lahore.
NA-129 Lahore Winner
In NA 129, the PTI held onto the seat as its endorsed candidate, former Punjab Governor Mian Azhar, who is the father of a former federal minister, defeated PML-N contender Hafiz Nauman with 103,718 votes. With 105,734 votes, Hammad Azhar of the PTI defeated Mehr Ishtiaq Ahmed of the PML-N in the same constituency in 2018. However, Istakam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) candidate Awn Chaudhry, who received 172,576 votes, shockingly defeated Salman Akram Raja, an independent supported by the PTI, in NA-128. Salman Akram Raja, on the other hand, received 159,024 votes. Political analysts had projected Raja would win, and he was leading the race and expected to win the polls at first.

NA-123 Lahore Election 2024 Result
Shehbaz Sharif won with an astounding 63,953 votes in the Lahore NA-123 constituency. With 48,486 votes, independent candidate Afzal Azim Pahat lag behind in second place. Shehbaz Sharif’s two victories highlight the PML-N’s continued strength in Lahore and demonstrate the faith that voters have in his ability to lead and his vision for the province and constituency. Shehbaz Sharif, the head of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and a former prime minister, won both province and national assembly seats from Lahore in a historic election triumph.
